Description
A young blood elf female glares in a stray direction, basked in warm hues of peach and gold. She is adorned only by a gold tiara and earrings, and hair as blonde as her skin. Her eyes are masked with a yellow sheen. Her hair is streaked with subtle blue shadow.

Analysis
Harmony and Unity is created by harmonious colours, light and blending well within one another. Contrast is created by the deep black shadows. Texture is created in the strands of hair and the sheen, metallic appearance of the jewellery. Movement follows the hair and the curves of the shoulder, chin and face. Value is light in the skin but deep in the shadows of her hair.

Interpretation
The elf looks like she has been caught or reprimanded for doing something she shouldn't be. The sinister qualities of the blood elf can definitely be seen in this picture. The elf bears no noticeable clothing, perhaps a testimony to the seductive and also conniving quality of the female blood elves. However despite being very feminine, her angry glare with the glowing eyes hide a fierceness and ruthlessness of the magic within.

Judgement
The digital painting quality of this art piece is very impressive. The digital painting is seamless, and even the progress pictures make it seem far easier than it really is. The contrasts are made with a beautiful shade of royal blue which is subtle and pleasing compared to all the orange/peach/yellow. The expression accurately captures the look of a Warcraft blood elf. The face looks both realistic and still fantasy-like, which is a treat. The texture in their hair is so well done yet shows no obvious trail of how it was made. The whole artwork is a testimony to digital painting skill, with no need for textures or brushes or any fancy tricks.

Great work, your style is so lovely, and your compositions are very original. If it was more of the face and we could see the body to tell the story, there would be 5 stars on originality for sure. The only thing I'm not sure of is why there is a white fringe at the top of the picture, but at the same time it doesn't look bad with it either.

Fantastic stuff!
